Lucy is passionate about all things with superannuation and retirement planning, her area of technical specialisation is dealing with people who are in both the wealth accumulation and retirement stages of life.
These are people who are in the process of building up wealth or starting to enjoy their wealth during their retirement. Lucy loves superannuation and retirement planning strategies to maximise clients retirement nest eggs whether this be minimising superannuation tax paid to adult children on death, maximising contributions to superannuation, or helping people access some of their superannuation benefits while they are under 65 and still working.
Lucy has been a financial planner since 2003. She graduated from Charles Sturt University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Business (Finance). Since then she has completed a Diploma of Financial Planning from Deakin University in 2002 and a Self Managed Superannuation accreditation.
Lucy has been in the Financial Services industry since 1998, where after graduating from University, she commenced work with Rothschild Australia Asset Management as a Superannuation Technical Manager. Lucy’s focus changed to financial planning, specialising in Superannuation and Self Managed Funds, after moving from Sydney to the country in 2003. Lucy joined the team at PY Financial Services when she moved to Albury in 2009.
As a mother of 3 young children she is also passionate about making sure families are financially protected against a potential tragic event that could derail a family financially and emotionally.
Lucy regularly presents seminars to our clients and she has the ability to explain technical information in every day terms so clients walk away having a greater understanding and appreciation for the need to protect and generate wealth.
